Hello all!

Well we made it back from spring break and got a nasty surprise. The school system's computer system has a virus. I won't be posting much until it is fixed as I do all of it here at my desk. They are working away on it and I know it will be all better before long.

Hope you all enjoyed your break and are now excited about the warm weather! We are enjoying playing outside (when it isn't raining), making spring crafts, and getting ready for first grade.

Check back for updates in a few days when they get this thing fixed.

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday along with classrooms all over the country. We started the day by listening to Green Eggs and Ham on the radio. Next, the fun began! We went to several kindergarten classrooms and read Dr. Seuss stories. First we were in our classroom with Mrs. Lockett's class. We read The Cat in the Hat and made up lots of rhyming words. Next we went to Mrs. Scott's class and she and Ms. Lowery read Fox in Socks and we had a sock race! Finally we went to Mrs. Griffin's class and read Bartholomew and the Oobleck and got to make our very own oobleck!

We wore green today in honor of Green Eggs and Ham.
