Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday along with classrooms all over the country. We started the day by listening to
Green Eggs and Ham on the radio. Next, the fun began! We went to several kindergarten classrooms and read Dr. Seuss stories. First we were in our classroom with Mrs. Lockett's class. We read
The Cat in the Hat and made up lots of rhyming words. Next we went to Mrs. Scott's class and she and Ms. Lowery read
Fox in Socks and we had a sock race! Finally we went to Mrs. Griffin's class and read
Bartholomew and the Oobleck and got to make our very own oobleck!
We wore green today in honor of Green Eggs and Ham.
